This recipe for Overnight Oatmeal with Peaches uses simple, easy to find, budget-friendly ingredients! Here's what you'll need:

This recipe is naturally vegetarian and gluten free, although if you have an allergy, make sure to use specifically-labeled GF oats to avoid cross-contamination. The oats can easily be made dairy free / vegan as well, simply by using your favorite vegan yogurt and plant based milk. I prefer soy milk, which is thick, creamy, and has a neutral taste, but almond milk, oat milk, coconut milk, etc. will also work great.

To prep and store the oats, you'll need a small jar or bowl with a lid. Mason jars work great, because they have a reusable lid and are easy to transport. These cute 12-ounce jars that I used are the perfect size, however a standard 16-ounce mason jar (pint jar) would also work.

This recipe couldn't be faster or easier to prepare! You'll find a detailed recipe card below, but here's an overview of the steps:

So simple, right? And so delicious, too ... you are going to love this creamy Peach Overnight Oats recipe!

Tip: Overnight Oatmeal has a thicker texture than the stovetop oatmeal. This makes them creamy, plus easy to transport. If you prefer a looser texture, simply stir a little extra milk into the soaked oats before serving.

Once you've mastered this simple Peach Oats recipe, you can have fun experimenting! Here are some ideas to try:

Store your Overnight Oats with Peaches in an airtight jar or covered bowl in your refrigerator. They will stay fresh and taste best when eaten within three to four days.

Tip: This recipe makes a single serving, however I recommend making three or four jars at one time (that way breakfast is covered for the week). To make multiple servings, simply line the jars up on your counter. Then add your ingredients assembly line-style (first oats, then milk, etc.).

Overnight oats are made with old-fashioned rolled oats that have been soaked in liquid (milk, yogurt, or water) overnight or until they've softened. It's a no cook method for making oatmeal. Check out my guide How to Make Overnight Oats for more tips, variations, and topping ideas!

Overnight Oats last for about three to four days once refrigerated. If you're adding perishable toppings (like some fruits), you can add them just before serving for the freshest, most tasty results.

You can eat Overnight Oats cold or hot, although they are usually eaten chilled straight from the refrigerator. To warm your oats, gently heat them in your microwave right before serving.

Yes, you need to refrigerate Overnight Oats once all the ingredients have been mixed together.

If your Overnight Oats didn't work, there may be a few reasons. If they have a gluey texture, you probably didn't use enough liquid. Try adding a little extra milk or water to thin them, then refrigerate for a few more hours. If there's enough liquid but the oats aren't tender, you need to refrigerate them longer (overnight is best). For more flavor, don't forget to add a pinch of salt, a dash of cinnamon (or other spices), and some maple syrup for sweetness.
